I love Scuttle Buttin. Im a bedroom guitarist and trying sometimes train on this riff. Thats beyond my skills but its fun to try from time to time. Snyggt spelat där ❤

I've heard people suggest he wasn't that great and was derivative. Only "derivative" if you say he continued a long tradition of searing, inspiring blues guitar then ok, guilty as charged.
But he's so immediately identifyable he was obviously doing something right and earned his place in the pantheon of great musicians and guitar players.
I got to see him several times and I'm so grateful i did!

Just watched this with the sound off while listening to The Bulawayo Sweet Rhythms Band playing "Skokiaan".
It fitted perfectly.
