Thanks. this is really helpful. Part of my confusion is that there seem so many terms and I don't know if they are different or just nuanced. For example I have seen Ontology divided into 'Materialism' and 'Idealism". I presume if you take an ontological idealism stance you are using a relativist ontology? And Epistemology divided into 'Empiricism' and 'Rationalism' - presumably subjective and objective/positivist? For example is relativist ontology just another name for Idealism ontology - or are there differences? If you have a positivist ontology is that the same as rational ontology?

This is confusing if not a wrong presentation of these essential ideas. The presenter should first learn about these paradigms before starting to confuse listeners.
