Hooverphonic - Uptight

Wat een stem heeft die Luka! Samen met Alex en Raymond bracht ze het heerlijk swingende Uptight, waarmee heel de zaal aan het dansen ging. Alsof ze samen nooit anders gedaan hebben dan in Hooverphonic gespeeld.

There is no greater creative group on the face of this Earth. Music second to none. Alex's coaching for the Voice gave Hooverphonics a unique opportunity, if the stars alighned. Always having the finest female singers up front, they have in my opinion, found their new gal. I followed Luka through her Voice journey and loved her creativity and maturity through to her win. The instant she and Alex performed on the show together I wanted more. "Hooverphic Genius"

This song became one of my favorite of the new album, with : Concrete Skin, Horrible person and Romantic. This band is just incredible on creativity. Basically, i hate electro, but this album... this guy : Alex, the bassman is a genius. None of them songs is bad to my ears. Except maybe the disc : "In wonderland".
