He could read Allan Donald, Shaun Pollock, Makhaya Ntini, even Dale Steyn because their Bowling is expected to certain kinds of shots he can play. Hansie knew that point and he read Sachin so thoroughly that he expected the shot Sachin delivers and there was a Fielder. Ultimately Sachin has to admit that fact. Good Job Hansie... I feel Fannie de Villiers is someone who puzzled you the most. From 1992 in South Africa to 1996 in Titan Cup.. Fannie troubled you the most in ODIs.

He may not want to admit it, but I would say, most great anticipated battles between McGrath and Sachin were won by McGrath.I mean 99, 2003 world cup matches, Sachin did not get past McGraths first spell on 3 occasions.Yes Sachin did get hundreds against McGrath at Melbourne and Chennai .
