1. This kind of effect exists for 2-3cmc without being at the mercy of your opponents also getting creatures and the horse randomly dying to a sac or a block
2. If you put in x=3 that's just 3 creatures for a whole 6 mana and the rating doesn't get much better with higher x. Many other cards can spit out tokens at a much cheaper rate
3. If the deck has a lot of fetch lands and land catch-up I could see it working but generally an Assemble the Legion will outperform it at the same cmc
4. Griffin Aerie is simply better here. Cheaper in cmc and pips, works with the commander and therefore deals more damage than the 3/3's
5. One defender token a turn for 4cmc seems very low value
6. That's actually a nice include. Repeatable up to 3 tokens a turn is great
