Ronnie Barker wore that exact outfit when he performed as Buster Gut on The Two Ronnies

In 1981 when this was released I couldn’t have cared less about Bad Manners. It wasn’t my type of music. Now, after a life immersed in music I realise just how great this song is. Fantastic.

So under rated how much they influenced the ska scene in the early eighties, I was the only kid at high school listening to this style of music everyone else new romantic

You could never take them as serious as say The Specials, Selecter, The Beat or even Madness, but damn they were a great band!

Saw Bad Manners at Sheffield Poly Students Union 1981. The music still sounds fresh today 43 years later!! It's just mad to think that there's less time between 1941 and the Second World War and 1981 than between 1981 and 2024. The Second World War era feels like a completely different time!!! 1981 still can seem relevant and relatable! How so????

What a fucking performance. Holy shit..I sure hope-wherever these mad lads are-that they're enjoying life to its absolute fullest, but also remembering to take their heart medication. Absolute ENERGY

LOVED LOVED LOVED this song back in 80s. Bought the single played it over and over. It was my favourite when it came out. Still love it now in 2020
I went to see Bad Manners at Hammersmith Palais I can't remember the year I was 15, I lost my shoe there too much jumping 🤭..no seats, everyone jumping.. pogoing. I remember The Ramones were the supporting warm up act and the crowd were spitting at them... different genre I guess. Never forget that

What happened to the Brits?I used to love watching these bands on tv in the US.They were always so goofy, funny, and cheerful.I really miss those days of great entertainment from U.K..The 80's bands were good here in US.But the Brits were awesome.Madness, One Step

I saw them in Boston. Absolutely one of the best, most fun live acts. Buster was spitting fake blood, the keyboardist had a nuns habit on etc.
