During the AMA session with Maia Metz, founder and CEO of Noé Programme, on Monday, we discussed the role of Product Manager, a really fascinating job, where you have to develop the product strategy and work hand in hand with all the departments in your company.

But many women don't dare to enter the product management field, which is still heavily dominated by men. Why is this? Lack of confidence, most of the time.

Here are Maïa's main tips: you don't need to be able to code or have previous PM experience to start this career path. PM's main concern is the problem to solve: so choose a problem you have in your life (think of your banking app, your training app...), and try to analyze it and build a solution for it. It's the best way to train yourself for this role.
