Oh wow. Can you imagine if they printed this in a 9-10 pt font? That would be my perfect Bible.

I got a copy of this in the green color for $6 about a year ago. The size and layout is fantastic. I use it every day. I don’t mind throwing it in the door pocket of the truck and it is great to read anywhere.

I speak English as my second language. I've been searching for a Bible that is portable and good quality and this one just looks perfect for me. Also, the ESV is one of my favorite English translations of the Bible. Thank you Tim for this video.

As a preacher, my favorite is the NIV Giant Print Compact Bible by Zondervan. Love it so much I have three of them so that I will always have one at home or at work or on the road. Easy to read and refer to from the pulpit or even when holding it at a distance while preaching.

Please keep in mind that $50 is a big spend for many people. And if I gave $200 or $300 I might want to purchase a compact Bible, a study Bible and a wide margin Bible. So the reviews of the standard bibles is huge to many people. ❤

I ended up paying full price for this Bible on Amazon, but it’s still one of if not my new favorite! I agree that pushing the text out of the gutter and leaving notes and footnotes out of the text is a great idea, and coupled with the single column format, it approaches being like a readers Bible. I’ll agree with others in the comments that, if it were slightly larger and had a larger font size, it would be a near perfect Bible

I was planning to get a copy of this as I'm starting to appreciate single-column Bibles, but I realized my Personal Size ESV Study Bible already has this format (plus the bonus study notes and companion maps and illustrations). I just need to get used with the weight but overall, it's really portable.

I love this Bible. I found it when searching for an ESV single column in a portable size with a font that wasn’t tiny.

I have a black genuine leather thinline NASB reference with 8pt font that I love ($25 back in the day). I churched it up a bit with red art gilding and 3 navy blue ribbons for that nice classic look haha Good stuff, great review, as always!

Tim, this is a good idea. The premium Bibles are awesome, but it is good to see the really nice affordable Bibles as well. I actually wish that more Bibles would put those cross references in the gutter. It looks like a great idea to me. Thank you!

I have this in a different TruTone cover! Really really good quality for the price. Very portable for me, yet easy to read. I added in two more ribbons I took from two other ESVs.

I've been thinking of having a leather sleeve made for it someday. It's worth the expense for that!
