FF is nice - but the A7/r are small bodies - and Lenses will be the issue -  Size and Weight -  Sony has no plans for fast F2.8 zooms -  imagine the weight and size of a 70-200mm F2.8 on the A7/r -   just not practical -  and Sony realizes that issue so only F4.0    -  Even Fuji in APS-C size has not produced a 70-200 F2.8 and of course Sony in their old NEX line APS-C has no fast zooms either - 
I think we have a ways to go before we see small and light fast zooms that would work well with small mirror-less bodies -
I have FF and APS-C -  and M43 - and for the practicality of smaller and lighter lenses I have now totally focus on M43 -
Even the 24-70mm F3.5-5-6 Kit lens is huge on the small A7/r - 
I think the focus shoot be to improve the smaller sensor until they can make smaller APS-C/FF lenses - Sony is now making the Exmor R sensor or Back Lit sensor so hopefully we will see that technology in the M43 sensors
