You should fill the crankcase with some sort of grease (mega moly) and see if itll stay running or self destruct!

Late comment, but the long-named compound in the listing is MMT, which is what provides the octane boost. It is also responsible for the orange deposits. You will see those deposits after using other MMT-based additives as well. The purposes for the other ingredients are likely: kerosine [kerosene] as a stable bulk carrier, solvent naptha is likely to dissolve the MMT originally (gasoline is basically naphtha), and the naphthalene is likely there to further modify the effective octane like a buffer. Naphthalene has an octane rating of about 90 on its own. Since kerosene is similar to a lighter version of diesel, you were basically running that engine on high octane diesel fuel!

Thank you for all these videos! Super entertaining.

How about testing a 50/50 or 75/25 mix of gasoline and vegetable oil in a lawnmower?

My only criticism is a middle line of grass you missed when running your lawn mower lol

Everything in this video was exactly what I wanted to see. Great video!

Cool video. Have you ever tried Coleman fuel? I did about 45 years ago, and as I remember, the muffler got red hot and a flame coming out of it. Even back then I was fixing trash picked mowers, at 15. I ran out gas and Coleman was all I had in the garage. I couldn’t drive to the station, yet

We've all heard not to run small engines on Ethanol "fortified" fuel by now. So how about going the other direction and run the engine on 100% ethanol (pure grain alcohol...aka Everclear... may be easier to find but it needs to be as close to 100% or 200 proof as possible). Or like someone else mentioned in your last engine video: Methanol. Or how about Butane... that's a liquid too. Maybe Acetone, MEK (methyl ethyl keytone), Kerosene, Paint Thinner, Terps, Xylol? The choices are endless! Your local hardware store is bound to have a whole shelf of flammable liquids to pick from!

Nice video by the way. You must have the shortest lawn in the neighborhood with all the cutting you do! :D

If you are looking for other fuels, try model airplane fuel - typically 15%-20% nitrol with methanol.
