Gregg Marcel Dixon, 36, of Ridgeland, South Carolina hopes to unseat longtime U.S. Rep. James Clyburn, who serves as majority whip and is the third-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives.

"I am running because James Clyburn and the Congressional Black Caucus could push President Joe Biden to issue an executive order to start a committee for reparations, and also bring back the Freedmen's Bureau, but it has not been done,” Dixon said. “Black America needs real representation."
