when i was a kid id watch storm coverage and daydream about being able to buy a gigantic touch screen tv/computer like the news stations had lmao when i learned it was a green screen i was mind blown and a little bit devastated lol

I thought chroma key was done in post, so I was wondering how they are showing the map behind you on that screen in real time? I need to know that program used for an instructional video I want to make. I plan to point at something and then talk about it, but I'll need a monitor like you have to refer to when gesturing towards certain things. Can you let me know what is being used to do the chroma key during the recording and not in post?
