I had a rat. So intelligent. He was a lover and wanted to be near me all time. He would pout when it was bed time. I named him Bob. Big Ball Bob. Miss him 😢

I rescued animals from a lab once. When everyone was adopted out and all was said and done I was left with a guinea pig, two gerbils, a mouse and a rat. That rat was one of the best, most loving, most intuitive animals I had ever met. She demanded french fries and hugs. She was so funny and smart, and I will never get over how wonderful she was. She changed the minds of people who were phobically terrified of rats. More people need to have these experiences with rats.
