This is a simple observation, but I just want to point out how appreciated it is to hear these kind of updates from a real human (which sounds ridiculous now that I think about it) instead of an AI voiceover. They are popping up everywhere and I’m sick of them. We need to keep our humanity. That’s another big reason I really appreciate your channel!

Crisis centres are not very nice places especially if you have a few belongings as there is no lockable places. Being homeless doesn't mean you don't work just that rent is to high. You need some belongings to be able to keep your job. You can't outlaw homelessness. You can outlaw over charging rents.

I'm curious what happened to all the flying foxes/ fruit bats in Brisbane? All the roosts along Kedron Brook and Enoggera / Breakfast Creeks have been abandoned. Either they can sense the falling air pressure as Tropical Cyclone Alfred approached, and / or the sound of the big trees coming down beside them and the roar of the rising floodwaters spooked them all. Apparently they do come back eventually when the trees are flowering again.

A bridge to Russell island defeets why you live there. People who move there knowing there are times when you are cut off from the mainland. Fog in winter, storms etc.

Sorry not related to the video what so ever, but thought this might be a decent place to ask. I’m new to Brisbane and have been so curious what the 2-3 storey oval shaped structures are just outside the tunnel entrances. There doesn’t look to be any doors or windows, any information would be appreciated

With the smart ticketing thing I will need to do is make sure my phone is in m pocket when I'm getting of the bus instead of in my hand, I find it usuall tries to read it when it is in m hand and then errors.

I support a bridge to Russell Island but not to North Stradbroke Island. The real estate agents would have a field day and the resulting high rise apartments wall to wall along the beachfront would not be welcome.
