~COOKING WITH GRANNY~

In this video, we are back in the kitchen with Granny. Today she will be sharing her recipe for Shepard’s Pie. I have listed the ingredients and directions below.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
2 cans French Style Green beans (drained)
Cheddar cheese
3 1/2 cups mash potatoes (cooked)

DIRECTIONS:
brown your ground beef until the red is out, and drain. Put ground beef on a casserole dish. Cover ground beef with mushroom soup. Cover soup with green beans. Cover green beans with mashed potatoes. Cover potatoes with cheddar cheese. Bake on 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

What a precious, precious woman your Granny is. I wish with all my heart we would have had video cameras when my Grandma was alive to record her recipes. She was such a wonderful cook. We have some of her written recipes but they just don't taste the same. She did a lot of "tweeking" along the way that was never written down or the whole process start to finish that we just have to guess at. So glad you are recording your Granny, she is a pistol. Oh, Granny, I just know I would love to sit and talk to you. I'm gonna try that recipe...looks delish. I saw immediately that was hand stitching...just beautiful!!! Embroidery is gorg!! My grandma did so much of that kind if thing. I loved to help her and just sit and watch her. She gave me her quilting rack a couple of years before she passed away. I sure cherish them.
