It's sad to lose a cool developer, but there's definitely something to be said about being able to go out fulfilled and on your own terms. As an artist I can totally respect that.

I’m sad that I only learned of Mimimi games at the time of their closure, at the same time it’s bittersweet that they didn’t close due to financial issues and went out with a bang of a final game. I hope all their employees and the heads find success in whatever they do next.

What's really sad about Mimimi is it's maybe the best outcome for a small studio to close after a good game instead of waiting to be so in debt you have to release a half-baked disaster or get bought by a big corporation and turn into an empty shell.
Not every studio can have a success story like Larian.

Recently been playing thru desperados 3 and it's great. Gonna be picking up shadow gambit soon. Sucks to hear there closing down not many games out like these.

I didn't get to that in my game yet, but - given that Prognosticars excise our units based on intent, and given that, after Yuki sets up her trap, the trap by itself no longer carries an intent - is it possible to kill a Prognosticar with Yuki's trap without retaliation?

Thanks for the video. This DLC seems to be more in the style of what I like to play than the base game. Don't think I'll spring for the main title just for the DLC though. Onward to 300k. All glory to the algorithm.

With Mimimi gone this subgenre is now pending solely on Commandos Origins and The Stone of Madness, it really it´s a shame, a subgenre with around only 15 games, a lot of them mediocres or bad, and Shadow Gambit for better or worst it´s the first one to deviate from the classic formula of Commandos 1. They really tried to make the genre evolve after all this time by making it more flexible, not everything works I feel (repeating levels was a chore, and while allowing to select which characters to take it´s def a curious addition to the genre, it also kind of breaks it and removes character interactions from the narrative which was a highly of previous Mimimi games), but it pains me to see their last game will be a genuine ephor to make something new, and it was their least sold game.
