Chris Hemsworth was great as a young Optimus Prime in Transformers One, and now he might make the jump to live-action and appear in the upcoming Transformers 8. However, it doesn't seem like Hemsworth will be voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers 8, as some might have initially assumed. Since the next film in the series will be a crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe, it is much more likely that Hemsworth will be a different character entirely, perhaps from G.I. Joe.

Before the release of Transformers One, Chris Hemsworth himself teased that he would be switching sides in the live-action Transformers movie. Hemsworth is an accomplished action star, and his role in the Extraction films proves he would be a perfect choice to play a G.I. Joe character. However, it would be somewhat distracting if an actor who just voiced Optimus Prime in animation was fighting against him in live-action. Regardless of what character Hemsworth plays in Transformers 8, hopefully, Transformers One won't be the last time he portrays Optimus Prime.

It would be nice to see all the human protagonists together again. Sam (who would turn out to be alive), Carly, Mikaela, Tessa, Shane, Cade, Vivian, Charlie and Memo.

I hope that sooner or later they'll make a movie with Strascream as the primary antagonist, since he's the secondary antagonist of the live-action saga. Maybe they would have done better to make him the main villain earlier, rather than giving that role to others (Lockdown, Quintessa and The Fallen).
