The young Kratos might be physically stronger due to being 100% pissed off, but old Kratos it's way more stronger mentally. While old Kratos knows every form of attack young Kratos can do, there's a lot of new technics Young Kratos doesn't know.

I say this fight would be pretty close until old Kratos realize that the only way to defeat his younger self is taming his rage. Then play time is over for young Kratos.

Older Kratos wins it because of that exact control. This same situation also applies to so many different scenarios outside the world of God of War.

I think that kratos would try to reason with himself and try to teach him how to control the rage. But then he would find it futile and just bring out his own rage to show what can happen when you do tame it.
