What a nice sounding synth! I haven't played on a new Roland keyboard in a while!

Just got one, great but only complaint is only 1 track for the drums on the sequencer which is weird as my old DS could of had the whole 8 tracks as different drums. Maybe a change in a possible software update? Would still recommend as my DAW can add drum layers but I like using only the Juno.

The perfect mix of talking vs. hearing the instrument. Most videos do too much of one or the other, or the musician simply using it as a show-off session.

It is a smaller version combining the features of FANTOM 06 and XPS 30

Some of the differences between Juno D6 and Fantom 0. No touchscreen. Seems far less programmable and layering/split options seem designed for simplicity not for however you'd like. 8 tracks vs 16 and the sequencing options seem cut back (the D6 is more like a scratch pad or groovebox with only 64 steps). No clips. Far fewer controls. Looks less well-built or maybe it's just plainer looking bordering on ugly. No synth models like Juno-106, etc. And I'm sure there's more. Fantom-06 is a proper workstation minus linear recording and audio tracks. Juno-D6 is more like a stage piano with a ton of sounds and some extras. As somebody who's been back-and-forth on getting a Fantom-06 — I actually ended up going with MPC Key 37, which I love, and the new OS will take it even further — I could see myself getting a Juno-D6. If it had built-in speakers (such a great feature for a portable instrument), I would have already ordered it.

I wish they would add a browser to the next roland fantom future, where we can load one shots and accapellas and backing tracks. A sampler where we can chop is not needed, to such a great workstation with so many internal sounds.

This would make the roland fantom 06/07/08 or 6, 7 or 8 complete.

And also a linear sequencer, where we can switch between linear and loop based like in ableton live 12.

a big improvement to my excellent juno ds88. I haven´t watched the video for less than 10 minutes and I love this. working on sounds and splits is easier with the bigger display than on my 2017 ds88

It is interesting how synths and workstations have diverged and converged at the same time. I used to gig live with an 01/W. I had to pre-program pads and patches I needed. Even pre program how I could fade in and out stuff and with which controller input. What I am seeing here is far more focused on live performance.

I'd love a module version of this.

I think this will be a very good keyboard in from Fantom 06.

But only after its launch in India will we know whether it is really better than Fantom 06

My first Roland was a D5 back in the early 90's, then an MC50 mk2, an Xp 80, Mc 505, and last an XV 88 which I still use. alas yesterday the keys on the Xv started to break 😔I love Roland My Wish is to have the new LX 6 that would be a dream come true. Can you hear me, Roland?

Now people will confuse with old Juno D and this new One..

If we see it's design, It's Name should be "XPS 30 Pro / Max "or "JUNO DS Pro/Max"
