Created, written and directed by – and starring – one of Australia’s favourite comedians, Kitty Flanagan as Helen Tudor-Fisk, season two find it’s business as usual at the Gruber & Associates office. Helen’s social skills haven’t improved but at least she’s nailing it as a suburban wills and estates lawyer. So much so that Roz (Julia Zemiro) and Ray (Marty Sheargold) mistakenly entrust her with the presentation of their regular Q&A probate information night at the local library.

Meanwhile, Ray (Sheargold) is shredding for a school reunion and George (Aaron Chen) finds himself overworked when Roz (Zemiro) embarks on a new business venture. On the client front Helen (Flanagan) will take on a clown theatre company, a May/December couple with a new baby and a mother who sends her two squabbling sons a message from the grave. But the probate stakes are really raised when a formidable woman comes forward to claim a vaguely worded $10 million bequest from the local crazy cat lady.

Just found this on Netflix and devoured the 2 seasons within days, lol. It's brilliant. Really looking forward to more but honestly what they've done stands on its own as a uniquely funny show. Great writing, perfect cast, a welcome sanity break, I hope more people see it.

Surprised but very happy there's a second season. Loved the show but apparently everything I like is not commercially viable and gets cancelled by whatever channel or streaming service commissioned it so I just assumed it was one and done. Glad this is one of those rare exceptions.

A great show, really well paced and low key hilarious. These characters are all so believably unbelievable, with terrific chemistry. Thrilled there even is a second season, considering the top notch quality of writing and acting. I also love that there are no superfluous agendas or "box-check" write-ins, just realistic characters doing the realistic things they would, to drive the plot along. Please make more, I'll spread the word "Fisk" around as best I can.

It appeared in my Netflix, new arrival section, and was looking for background noise to play while I worked on a campaign for an audio book I'm launching over the holiday time slots. Fisk.... lawyer, will's and estates, Australia.... This was.... 3 days ago... my Thursday evening EST, Toronto, Canada. Sure, let's try it... S1 E1 - Play. As of this Monday afternoon, and having my own little wrap party, thinking.... what a scream it must have been writing for this show. Brilliant writing. Just my opinion. Clever, very clever plots, characters, they all seem to fit. So well done! Right then. Are you working on Season 3, Season 4? Wishing all of you nothing but success.
