Didn't expect that from Nothing phone 2a, for the price its going neck for neck with the pixel. They really did the job this time.

For the price, the 2a is doing a fantastic job. I almost prefer the pictures in most scenarios. The shadow detail is amazing. The video isn't on par with pixel but this is only nothing's 3rd phone ever!! Definitely very impressive.

How is the Nothing 2a, for a non pixel at this price, so good!!?
Low light snaps with considerably low, if not no, noise... so much better than what we were getting in this price segment just a year ago.

In my opinion, Nothing's color interpretation algorithm wants to resemble Apple's, which is not a bad thing (although I think it is light years away from it, not to mention compatibility on social media apps). Great mid-range imo, but I still prefer Google. Still, for this price I think we consumers are the ones who win since we have more to choose from :)

Honestly for daylight photos, most phone cameras do just great. To the point of where it would be difficult even to really tell a difference.

I like the night photo of the nothing phone 2a. Personal preference. The NP2a really captures the neon lights perfectly. I like the light glare. Though pixel phones uses lense that reduces those glare but i m not a fan of those as it looks like edited copy-paste lights.

What Stuns Me is how similar the Daylight Samples are.
Still I think the 7A is a Marginal Winer but I am thinking of getting the 2A
as it has much bigger battery and it is cheaper here in The UK

Awesome comparison, congrats. Cameras, UFS 3.1 pixel, everything else NP2a, specially battery, temps, screen bezels, finger print scanner, etc. I prefer NP2a selfies, btw.

The P7a has a definite camera performance edge however the Nothing 2a can close that gap with continued updates. There are no P7a updates to close the battery life and charging performance gaps the 2a has over P7a. If camera performance is your priority go with the 7a but if it's not the 2a is tough to beat as a complete package at its price.
