Turning The Most Beautiful Walnut - Square Blank To Square Rimmed Bowl - Copper Owl Woodturning

Показать описание
In this video, I turn a gorgeous piece of English Walnut into a square rimmed bowl. I believe this shape best shows off the most stunning grain of the wood and adds interest without taking away from the natural beauty. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.
Have a nice day.

I have no idea how wood turners/artists visualize what the wood can become--stunning!

It’s beautiful. Well done. Fyi. I have found that when using pot holders to cushion/ hold my bowls to remove the tenons, it is much better then the nonslip carpet holders like the one you used. I used to use them too till I tried the pot holders.

Nice one Rob! I really need to try some of that Walnut Oil. It looks so good when you put it on. Just not sure how long it stays looking like that?

Not smartest move putting fingers on wood while machine is turning. Just a thought.
