Even though I'm extremely late, I'd like to share my theory.

In the episode "Crying Dame" Lynn Sr. and Rita had revealed Lucy would stare instead of cry. However, I also believe she decided to show her eyes in school, but since she stared at everyone, they were all extremely afraid of her. She was eventually bullied, and there for decided to hide her eyes. She still frightened everyone with her admiration for the dead and her pet bat, Fangs. And she wants to show her eyes, but she's afraid of getting bullied again, so she keeps her eyes hidden.

Technically, those aren't her eyes
First of all, those are the BAT's eyes, and though Lucy is the vampire, do you expect a bat to have human eyes?
And secondly, and *SPOILER ALERT*, the episode only turned out to be an illusion, thus invalidating this part of said hallucination

Off topic, but Lincoln’s scared look is one of the most cartoony scared looks I have ever seen. Great job to the makers for the creative look of the show!

i personally think lucy’s eyes would be similar to the other girls’ eyes, she would just have makeup or something on. she strikes me as the type to want to experiment with makeup in her own style, but only she’s allowed to see it. idk just a thought
