By far you have made the best videos about language delay and treating delays! Thank you so much! I will be starting at your first video and watching them all! Binge watching on my next snowed in weekend!!! Thank you so much! I am an OT but I try to incorporate a little of each discipline into every one of my treatments just to add opportunities to embed learning along the way! As I think all therapist should do!

This is so true. My little one learned all these with great success. I will have to say that learning videos helped a lot to. Sadly, my little one is definitely behind because of Covid. We finally were able to get a speech therapist but the establishment we have chosen is so swamped that our first appointment isn't until Dec. 2022. And that first appointment is mostly questions about my child. Slowly but surely, we will get there. Patience is a virtue.

Hello Laura Miza, I have a question. My 2 year old is so focused on walking . He really doesn't play only been trying to chew on everything in sight. He does receive early intervention but it is very hard to get him to participate with toys at all. He is babbling only. Also my 3 year old isn't using speech at all. He use to say almost 80 words but been diagnosed with congenital cerebral palsy . I have been trying to work with as well. He seems like he understands and wants to speak but can only say mom but I feel like he is straining to get mom out. He seems like he wants to speak but it has been so tough. Do you have any advice for me . They both was diagnosed with global developmental I just don't what to do at this

Do you think it’s worth trying these techniques with a 3 year old who has a myofunctional disorder??

My 3 yr old grandson said "deer" today. I used your strategy of 1st getting his attention and then pointing to an object while saying what the object is. It happened! I got his attention and pointed to the fake deer head on the wall. I pointed and said "deer." Right after me he said "deer." When i tried this again a few times he did not repeat deer.

Could you put into something shorter than 2 hours? Like, 10-15 minutes.
