Please remember, fireworks are illegal in the City of Waco.

This New Years Eve, the Waco Police Department and local assisting agencies will have a specialized unit dedicated to enforcing firework usage in city limits. We ask that you please be safe, be considerate, and celebrate responsibly. Firework usage affects more departments than you may realize.

In the last three years combined, Waco Police have received over 300 calls for fireworks. This takes valuable time away from officers working New Year’s Eve in addition to increasing the threat of fires in the community.
