Mariah's diva-ish personality is just for fun. My impression about her is that if you are her loyal friend then she'll be yours forever. And I think she is not the type of personality who would start an issue with someone. She is down to earth and she respects talents.

Why do ppl always come for Mariah. Girl was the most humblest during the early years of her careers(still is), and I don’t blame her for putting up that diva act cause I feel like that was a way for her to cope with the evil of the industry. The music industry today, like it or not, is not about singers doing what they like anymore but for ppl to make money off of them so they put women against one another. That’s why Mariah has gotten a tougher shell to fight off the evil of the industry, but then again only her real fans know that she is the humblest person because Mariah treats her fan like her own family. If your nice, ppl will more than likely take advantage of you and create some drama for publicity and stuff. Like she said, she deserves to be high maintenance because she deserved it, and she got talent and status to back up her divaness. Ppl hating on her are just jealous smh

Christina had a lot of love for Mariah since forever, it's obvious early in her career, but then the media got in the way, and i wish they didn't fall for that as the talented women that they are, it's sad and maybe they missed out on a good thing.

I love Mariah but I have to say that Christina A. has always given props to the likes of Whitney and Mariah. However, she seems to ALWAYS get shaded on by other singer's. I've also seen Christina give top notch live tribute performances and receive absolutely no love. essentially they were pitted against each other and that caused anamosity. of course mariah feels some kind of way when she heard people calling the new girl, "the next mariah carey." mariah is still out here making music, how can their be a "next mariah" when mariah hasn't left yet.
