TikTok is not just an app for new dances, random content and endless hours of random content. It is actually a social media platform that you can grow extremely fast. Since starting TikTok, my Instagram has grown, my Youtube has grown and I have developed a more interested following.

Originally when I downloaded the program, I watched it for a couple minutes and proceeded to delete it right after. This was because the content I was seeing was not interesting. It was just a bunch of people doing random stuff.

Fast forward a few months, a buddy of mine called me and said, you need to get TikTok. You can blow up on it. I told him my experience. He said, no... do short little camera tricks. Basically what I do on Youtube and Instagram but short, concise versions. He said he started it and blew up!

Begin my TikTok crusade. I OFFICIALLY started creating content for the app on May 1st. I had 12 followers and I think 3-4 videos. I started created videos, watching how to's on youtube to learn the best way to use the app, upload videos and design content. Within 7 days I was at 419 followers. Nothing to scream home about but I saw motion.

I continued to build content and test theories and within the next month I had built up to 30K followers. I know that’s not a massive growth and TikTok is definitely capable of much larger increases, but for me, it had tripled my Instagram and I had been building that for years. In fact, my Instagram and Youtube started growing faster because TikTok was funneling them there.

In the end, TikTok is a fun app that you can grow really fast, and you can do nothing. Its all about the content. These tips will help your account grow and will help you get more watch time. Don’t worry about the TikTok algorithm, just make good, engaging content, and you will grow! It doesn’t even have to be hard. Just think of fun short ideas and start creating.
