SWITZERLAND - WHY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD - A TRUE MOUNTAIN PARADISE
1 - Iseltwald is a picturesque village located on the southern shore of Lake Brienz in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. It is known for its spectacular landscapes, with mountains and crystal clear waters creating a fairytale setting. The village has a traditional Swiss architecture with wooden houses and narrow streets. Iseltwald has become especially popular due to its quiet location and natural beauty, attracting tourists who want to explore Lake Brienz, hike the surrounding mountains or enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the village. 3 - In august 2024, Brienz, a town in the Bernese Oberland, experienced significant flooding caused by intense thunderstorms. The heavy rainfall led to flash floods, which caused widespread damage, including flooded streets, homes, and the local train station. The flooding forced the evacuation of around 70 residents as water levels rose rapidly, making some areas inaccessible and dangerous. Rescue teams were deployed to manage the situation and provide assistance to those affected
The landscape on the edge of Lake Brienz seems to have come out of a magical land, where reality merges with fantasy. The waters of the lake have a turquoise glow that seems to emanate its own light, as if hiding in the depths the secrets of an enchanted ocean. All around, the mountains rise like ancient sentinels, covered by a dense forest that hides mystical creatures and unknown paths.
