I like this I dont know alot about this but it looks good i think would be better if you added a shockwave or made it so the explosion is align to the house instead of coming to the house (Edit: Actually nevermind it looks like somebody shot a missle but the shockwave would still be cool

To improve the final result, I think you should get rid of the small shadow on the right side of the cgi house because it gives us the feeling that the house is levitating. If you watch the real house : there is no shadow at all under the side of the house which is exposed fully to the sun. It should be the same for the cgi house exposed to the sun !
