People tried to make jesus a king and he refused. IMO true Christians, as in those who seek christ as their king, will pay to ceaser what is ceasers, but otherwise remain politically neutral because they do not recognize human authorities as the solution to mankinds problems.

Christian neutrality means neither supporting nor criticizing what authorities do, merely recognizing their authority and obeying insofar as it does not conflict with Gods commands like observing the memorial of christs death, the preaching work, and meeting together for worship.
