I rode in my C5 yesterday for the first time. This helmet is awesome. The comfort and is very quiet with my ear plugs in.

I've got a Schuberth C3 modular and it is VERY quiet vs anything else I've ever had. I ordered the Z1R Solaris in black/white and it should be here by Saturday. Can't wait to try it out.

Just got back from the shop and a 40 min ride at a 100Kph in the HJC RPHA 91, the cross winds were loads quieter than in my previous HJC FS-GT helmet, I was able to listen to my music at a lot lower volume as I didn't have to compensate for the wind, and, the bass in the music was not killed by the wind. All in all happy with the helmet after 1 ride. I hate the chin strap, it is really annoying that there is no DDs...:((

Well Ls2 replaced the valiant series with the Advant series I just got one to replace my Shark evo one 2. Both great helmets

I purchased the HJC RPHA 91 helmet over a month ago. I have an issue with the exterior shield slamming closed at any speed over 45 mph. The retention mechanism for the shield in the open position is weak compared to all the helmets I have owned over 35 years. I sent my concerns to HJC and they sent to their quality control dept. I have not heard anything despite me sending two follow up emails. I would not recommend this helmet as this is a major issue for me and due to the lack of support from HJC. I wont be purchasing any other HJC products

Apparently 95 decibel so the RPHA 91 would be much quieter and lighter than my original Shoei Neotec size small? Would I order SM for HJC also?

I don’t understand why you left out the the scorpion exo tech carbon.. I had that helmet and it seems better than all of these.. saved my life too. Crashed bad with it.. was even in the open position when I crashed
