2:15 also, not to be a nerd, but we talked about this in our physics class! The earth does actually rotate very fast, at about 1, 000 mph. However, the speed doesn't fling us off since we also move at 1, 000 mph. Our matter comes from the ground, which inherits the rotational velocity of the planet.

2:14 however, we would be used to it as it will have remained at a constant rotation and orbit speed for its entire existence, therefore we would not feel the effects and carry on our day-day lives
