LeBron James! He's a better player overall & he's been a great player since he's entered the league. He's won 2 championships, he's been MVP numerous times, he's a 10 time all star,  his stats are unbelievable and most importantly he's a team player. When was the last time KD won a championship or got MVP? The only reason KD's stats are what they are now is because of Russell Westbrook's injury, without that occurring, he wouldn't be in the picture of being a MVP. KD says he just cares about winning but that isn't it.

I think tonight was a big enough of a statement game.

In 33 minutes LeBron scored 5 more points than KD who played 39. Both players took 22 shots, KD had twice as many free throws as LeBron with 10.  Everybody was expecting KD to win the 1 on1 matchup?  LeBron shot 100% from the field with Durant on him.

This is just incredible.. A lanky, incredibly tall player with the slickest and softest release you'll ever see, an offensive monster versus sheer power and brute force with unmatched vision and IQ. It's these type of player rivalries that basketball fans live for. I'm rooting for LBJ since I'm a fan, but  if anyone were to beat him, I'd want it to be Durant. Tonight will probably play a huge role in the MVP voting !
