As someone having knowledge of a different OS and wanted to understand the linux boot process, I found it very helpful tutorial with details and sequence neatly laid out as a visual diagram. My only suggestion is about your presentation. It might help if you rehearsed it once or twice and be clear on what you want to say and how you explain. Then there would be a nice flow and makes it interesting for all audience than being amused by repeating the same phrase or unnecessarily using unrelated terms and making corrections that just dilutes the whole quality of your presentation.

You explained better than most videos. Could you please explain difference between initrd and initramfs? Also what exactly happens at MBR stage? GRUB identifies compressed vmlinuz image decompresses it? Loads initramfs into memory, and then places vmlinuz onto of the initramfs? Sysrootfs is the (temporary filesystem loaded in order for kernel to load all modules) the finally complete /usr/lib/systemd/systemd ==> init? I know the boot process) I'm trying to understand between GRUB & Kernel

please share us the how to change the boot loader for the oracle linux 6.10
we are planned to do the inplace upgrade of our oracle linux 6.10 to 7.6. We got the following preupgrade tool fail in the boot loader process.
The module checks for EFI and it forbids an in-place upgrade when the EFI boot loader is present.
Systems using the EFI boot loader cannot be in-place upgraded now.
please help on this.

did you just say that the "magic bytes" exists to verify that no errors exist in the bootloader code?
i don't think that's correct. "magic bytes" is simply a byte sequence signature that can be used to identify what type of data a binary is. like MZ at the start of a windows PE .exe file, or PK at the start of a .zip file. it sounds like you are describing a checksum.
