Logical Fallacy - Appeal to Ignorance
Показать описание
An appeal to ignorance, also known as an argument from ignorance or argumentum ad ignorantiam, is a logical fallacy that occurs when someone argues that a claim is true because it has not been proven false or that a claim is false because it has not been proven true. In other words, it's when someone uses the absence of evidence or lack of knowledge as support for their position.
