FSSAI launched this simple test to check if your Watermelon is adulterated with erythrosine

What is Erythrosine?
 It is a red dye widely used as a color additive in foods, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. 

Serious side effects of Erythrocin:
🩼Blistering, peeling, or loosening of the skin.
🩼chills, cough.
🩼diarrhea.
🩼difficulty with swallowing.
🩼dizziness.
🩼fast heartbeat.
🩼hives or welts, skin rash

How to test if your watermelon is injected?
Take a watermelon and cut in half, Take a tissue/cotton ball and tap on the centre. 

✅Unadulterated Watermelon will leave no color on the tissue/cotton ball
🚫Adulterated Watermelon will leave a red color on the tissue/cotton ball
