Seriously though... Does Iso E Super do anything?

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 gets mixed reviews. I set out to test whether Iso E Super actually does anything. Watch the video to see what I discovered.

Good subject to tackle. I wore M 01 when I went to have my hair cut one day. I couldn't really smell it but my hairdresser said she thought it was gorgeous!

Imo iso e super may only add longevity but if you want something to make your fragrance more diffusive or have more pop then hedione or Methyl dihydrojasmonate is your best bet

Some people say that M 01 works at its best if applied OVER the fragrance with low projection.

I can never smell Molecule 01 on myself but other people definitely get it. It's the fragrance that gets the most attention for me

It's a debatable subject Iso super E is it the shizzle or the Emporers new clothes? In my experience i have noticed Iso superE more in fragrance oil's than perfumes. Though i did layer it with Aventus once and according to the guy behind the counter at the local chippy i was NUCLEAR so make what you will with that.
Would i buy Molecule01 again nah but i do like Eccentric Molecules 01 that is nice.

A relative of mine, arriving slightly late to the table for a meal out, was wearing molecules 01 and I picked up on it immediately. I asked if she was wearing oud 🙄 as it was woody and projecting really well. Anyway I liked the smell and ordered the perfume parlour version.... It smells the same. I'm pretty sure it does enhance other fragrances, especially if they are woody.

I’m in utter agreement with this video and if I was to put out a video on the same topic my outcomes would absolutely mirror everything you’ve said.Ive tested both the original and the pocketscents version in regards to layering and I found neither to improve a poor performing fragrance significantly.Both scents when wearing as a stand-alone flitter in and out and isn’t a scent that the user gets a whole load of pleasure from because of this.Chinese whispers and wishful thinking if you ask me but skin chemistry plays a big part even more so with this scent than most others.Great intro tune in the background by the way lol, this video gets a 👍from me 💪💪🤣

Hi Steve, great to hear your opinions and experiences and love your sense of humour 😁
I am just getting into this layering lark although I haven't used any molecule fragrances (essentric or otherwise), I have tried combining different scents from my collection. Recently I discovered how well CDNIM limited edition works with Mercedes Benz Club Black over the top! Beast mode clubbing scent I tells ya! 😜

Anyhow what I wanted to suggest from my research into molecule scents is trying 02-Ambroxan with the BMIB Cologne instead as I think from a projection and performance point of view it works much better than 01-Iso E Super.

I just watched Curly Fragrances video on how to make your own 01 & 02 perfumes and I think I will give a try. I'll let you know how it goes if you want?

I bought Molecule 01 back when all the beauty youtubers were raving about it years ago. Smelled like new book pages for ten minutes before I could no longer smell it and nobody else ever noticed it either. It's a bit marmite, you love it or you think it's utter BS.

What was the concentration of the molocule 01 iso e super you bought. Wonder if you knew that molocule 01 by eccentric molecules is a 100% iso e super compared to rest some are 85% some even 68% others 45% iso e super. I have eccentric molecules. Molocule 01 with 2 sprays i could pick up whiff till next morning projection wise if you not gone nose blind is a buble around you but others should pick up near you. Ain't tried with other aftershaves that perform bad in summer heat as its not hot enough for artisan pure yet or vesace pour homme to try improve performance yet. But did put 2 sprays on my neck left for 10 min then put 5 spays of Armani mania which has been reformulated did help with a bit more projection and still could pick up both next morning about 11 hrs later. But the 1995 to 2002 armani mania was such a beast and panty dropper shame i never knew about reformation as i stopped using it in 2011 which was still good but last bottle i picked up in 2019 had its heart and soul ripped out that on a video i made a comment about it being reformulated and some girl replied that she was wondering why it did not turn her on anymore. As it did before she would spray on her pillow before she went to bed. Just also confirmed it for me. Other mens women would always try it on with me on the sly 😂😂😂😂

I totally agree. just bought a 10ml decant of molecule 01 a few months ago and it didn't do anything for me. no increased performance, no real own smell... just burning my money ^^
i'm so happy i didn't bought a full bottle!

Hi I love the whiffs you get from molecule 01 throughout the day but is there anything else that actually smells like it straight off the bat without having to search for it . I love the smell but it's so weak and need that smell strong projecting ect ...any thoughts pal?
