The FBI/DOJ went to this Magistrate because they knew they would never get a federal judge to sign off on that unconstitutional search warrant.

Did anybody honestly expect transparency?

Given that this magistrate judge granted the application w/o apparent much questioning, a surprise that he
was not aggressive about the reasonableness of doj redactions. One more thing that should not have happened.

This judge is not going to release anything that will harm him since he was the one that signed it in the first place. Why is he even able to be the judge.

3:00 - If the warrant lacked specificity, ipso facto, it is an unconstitutional document!

Yep and the fact that he all but rubber-stamped it means the fix is in. It will be useless.

In a previous case, Reinhart recused himself because of thing he said. What about this search warrant, what changed? The judge is a Democratic appointee, Democratic Party donor. FBI affiant is a Democratic Party donor. FBI gets to redact the affidavit. Same judge gets to approve the FBI's redactions. What's the judge going to do, open himself up to ridicule? This whole thing stinks!

Affidavit as redacted: "Hey magistrate, we know you're a Trump hater and we want to search Mar-A-Lago... because, you know, reasons."

Most if not all materials retrieved from Marlago were overclasified. Meaning they are useless.
