Victory Motorcycle police edition

This is a brief demo by an officer who rides an 1100 pound Victory motorcycle for patrol. The modification of the crash bars and how they can be used in a forced lay down from a bump or high speed chase. The video was recorded in Plant City, FL. The man asking the question is an antique Harley master. He noticed the different bars and asked a question about them which is what started the conversation. He was curious about equipment he had not seen before.

It's crazy to watch them go through their motorcycle training. They can dip and pull their bikes on hair pin turns to were it looks like they are literally gonna fall and they don't. It's amazing how they are able to ride through their obstacle course.. very skilled riders police motorcycle riders are.

I got pulled over one night in Jacksonville while on my bike about 30 years ago. The roads were a still wet from a recent rain, and all he wanted to tell me was not to ride over small standing puddles because they could be hidden potholes holding water . We ended up talking on the corner of Dunn Ave and Hwy 17 for a few hours just about motorcycles and life. He said his friend who was a motorcycle cop was killed while escorting a funeral procession. My experiences with JSO were not all good ones, but he was a really good dude.

I drive trucks all day almost every day except Sunday. I see police motorcycles doing the same except they are 7 days on. They have some mad skills

My dad bought a Harley for his birthday 🎉! 2024 Police Special. He never had a bike! He enrolled in a school and STILL had trouble with the corners and slow turns. Luckily he found out about “Training Wheels” for this very purpose. They made the difference! He learned how to make slow turns and how to control the bike in various situations. These training wheels were adjustable so when you felt like you could do everything without them, you simply unbolted them and put them away. I wish somebody would advertise. I don’t know who makes them people might laugh at you, but that’s better than breaking your ankle or breaking your leg and it gives you an opportunity to enjoy your $25, 000 midlife crisis.
