Jada Toys New True Spec Line....... Question.....

You all remember my excitement to find out about Jada Toys having a new 1/18 Diecast line called TRUE SPEC, and they showed Knight Rider KITT, the Ford Explorer from Jurassic Park, AND Doms 1970 Dodge Charger from The Fast And The Furious........ at San Diego Comic Con......

Fast forward to the release of the first car, Doms Charger. Now, our friend Hemi Nate got his already, and after seeing it, it looks amazing, but I have a real BIG question to ask about it. Maybe you all can help?

I pray every night that I'd wake up to the 1:18 Jurassic Park Explorer release. Oh and Knight Rider too because that's impossible to find in 1:18 now.

Hey Neil, no problem with using my pics. As for a 1:18 version, im still hopeful they will release one at some point. This is just a random thought but they may have done the 1:24 first perhaps as a test to see how this new True Spec series might do before they move to the larger scale stuff. I wanna say its been nearly 2 years since i first saw any mention of the True Spec line and saw a video of the 1:24 at a toy convention (cant recall what one atm) but hopefully it wont take that long till we find out about the 1:18 versions

Diecast X Magazine Spring 2024 Vol. 20 Issue #2 has an article on Dom's Charger, it only mentions the 1:24 version with an MSRP of $60USD. Zero mention being released in 1/18.

Maybe the issue with the F&F Charger only in 1/24 scale could be licensing with Universal Studios Hot Wheels released a 1/18 version but regular and Elite a couple of years back. I’m not sure to a degree to say that’s a certainty but could be the reason.
