The act of sacrilege by tearing the holy book in the full view of the public on a sacred day for the believers is rightly condemned worldwide. The world is watching the horror scene with shock. Reportedly the person is of Iraqi origin.

It is equally unimaginable that the act was conducted with prior permission from the authorities. The state's response to this was merely to brush it off, as if it is some petty crime, by saying that it was legal but inappropriate.

It is also fact that only one religion prescribes violence against non-believers. For the beleivers evolution stopped 1400 years ago and ever since then they have invaded, attacked, plundered, massacred, destroyed the places of worship, disfigured the idols, burnt the centres of study and knowledge, wiped out flourishing civilizations, dashed the twin towers, attracting and exporting terrorists by the ISIS, presently burning France, where they took refuge, as a mark of payback, perhaps. All done in the name of peace and guided by one holy book. Any thing going against their favour and faith makes them the victims of persecution, injustice, discrimination etc.

World has reconciled and learnt to make peace with them by granting equal opportunity, freedom, rights etc regardless of where they come from. They are the same regardless of their national identity, education, life experiences etc because they have one culture that differentiates all humans as believers and non believers.

Every other religion in the world respects common human values such as love, peace, trust, honesty, labour, sacrifice etc which cultivate harmony and cooperation. Any act of violence and sacrilege are condemned, deplored and are punishable.

When the act of terror and violence is organised voluntarily and spontaneously by the beleivers the civil society is asked to seek the reasons behind such inhuman behaviour and make necessary corrections and adapt to the new situations by sacrificing for the sake of peace.

For the sake of humanity, love and righteousness and for the survival of civil society, all communities worldwide must come together and destest sacrilege and intolerance against any religion, nation etc. even if it means continued atrocities by one religion.

Let noble thoughts come from all sides and lead from darkness to light.
