From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In Disney•Pixar’s original movie “ Inside Out,” he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

People say that the film seems like it won't work and won't do good, but I think it's it'll do just fine! Pixar is dipping their feet in something new and I like where this is going. I mean, brain freeze, train of thought? Come on, that's creativity gold! I'm sure many people would enjoy this film.

0:24 JOY: "You too, Anger!" She pulls Anger by the shirt back with the group.
ANGER: "Don't touch me." Anger HATES being touched! He should've RAN away from the other emotions so that Joy couldn't reach him!
By the way, I saw this movie in a theater, and really liked it. I especially loved Joy. She was CUTE, and I thought that if she was sitting in the theater next to me, I would HUG her.
Even now, I have a similar feeling about Joy and also SADNESS. Several people say Sadness is cute. So agreed. They're both cute by both appearance and personality.

Here's to hoping this is a deep, emotionally touching film and this trailer is just giving a false impression. Again, nothing is cinematically wrong with the last few Pixar films, but they're just not to the quality standard that what made Pixars so popular.
