Become Elite's Tutorial on How to hit along ball in Soccer/Football with accuracy, back spin, and pace!
A long ball means that you strike the ball with your laces in such a way that it flies in the air to your intended target about 30-60 yards away. The kick is usually intended to be straight, high above the ground, with power and with a slight backspin.
Overview:
1. Approach the ball at a 45 degree angle
2. Plant your foot as you normally would, pointed at your target
3. Turn your knee slightly out and lean back as you strike through
4. Make contact with the toe/bottom of the laces on your foot.
5. Strike the ball so that there is a little backspin and it flies straight through the air
6. Follow through and do not land on your kicking foot.
