MALLORCA TO VALENCIA BY FERRY REVIEW / BALEARIA MEDITERRANEAN TRIP REPORT

Hello and welcome to the FIRST boat/ferry/ship trip report on the channel!

So today we will be taking a ferry from Palma, the capital of the Balearic island of Mallorca/ Majorca, across the Mediterranean to the Eastern Spanish mainland city of Valencia, via Ibiza. We will be travelling with Baleària, aboard their 2 year old ferry, Hypatia de Alejandria. Enjoy the trip!

We took the overnight ferry last August with friends in their car, and had a cabin. The cabin (and entire ship) was spotless, and the beds were really comfortable.You can also bring your pets with you, and they provide overnight space for them as well.

Enjoyed watching the trip report and I have also noticed that travelling by ship always gives you a different vibe and a calm feeling which is fascinating and I would surely like to travel on ships occasionally. And a great video as always.☺

Great video! This ferry looks very nice. I've never been on ferry like this, my biggest ferry experience was Star ferry in Hong Kong :-D I envy you your trip to Valencia, which is my favorite city in Spain!

My very first crossing, was from Denia to San Antonio, aboard the 'Bahia de Malaga', (Flebasa Lines). The last time I saw the ship, was in a mess in Palma harbour! Great days...Thank you.

We took Balearia from spain too morocco and back and i kinda enjoyed the boat ride so i miss balearia

I love ferries about as much as I love trains which is a lot so I enjoyed this video very much. The ferries I've been on here in the US were a lot shorter trips than this, (Oakland to San Francisco, Newport to Balboa Island, and New Orleans to Algiers Point) but I would love to go on something like this

Good plan to include the odd ferry trip - might I suggest a mention of where you stayed and at what rate/location to station etc (or even include 10 secs or so about the hotel). Those seats were far too close together - must've been designed by an airline!

Congrats for the video. Last week I travelled by Balearia from Denia to Ibiza shipped in the Eleanor Roosevelt Fast Ferry, and back via Formentera with Nixe ferry and Ramon Llull fast ferry from Formentera to Denia. Absolutely recommend it

My husband and I are immigrating to Portugal next year, and this seems a like a great way to travel. We both also love train travel (something you really can't do on the the West Coast of the USA), and look forward to seeing more of your videos!!

Very enjoyable trip report, as I love ferry travel too I hope you might make a few more journeys like this one. The trips to Aoelian Islands and Naples from Sicily would be nice to see as I want to do them one day.

Very pleasant way to travel rather than flying
I've had an overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. The vessel was similar to yours
We had private cabins. There were comfortable seats at lower cost

Great to see a ferry review! Love travelling by ferry. My favours one is Stenline from Harwich to Hoek van Holland. If you get the chance, try a Irish Sea ferry, the seas are rough but it’s so much fun!
