I can’t believe the infamous therapy notes, that integral part of the “mountain of evidence” is not included… After Elaine repeatedly spoke of their exclusion on her “Tale of two trials” morning show tour! They are obviously hearsay! Thank you again I’ll definitely be reading some of the documents.

First of all, thank you Andrea - you are an absolute gem.

Reference Doc 28-3.22.22 Defendent's Motion in LImine shows Elaine for who she truly is, both as a lawyer and as a human being. I know it was her job to win for her client and she did her damnedest to do so not by presenting the truth as would be the case for an innocent party, but by actively trying to make sure that as much of the truth as possible was hidden - which only the knowingly guilty should need to do.
Possibly the worst example of her rather vile behaviour was in item 26 that having made sure that who was paying AH's legal fees was not to be disclosed (abridged version of the reasoning she gave was that doing so would risk prejudicing or misleading the jury). She then went on not only to break her own MiL, but did so with a deliberate lie that misled the jury and in likelihood prejudiced their inclinations. It may well have led the jury to throw Amber a bone in deciding to award her the Waldman statement or reduce the amount awarded to Johnny since she had all these legal fees to account for. No wonder Camille was shocked when Elaine brought it up in closing.

I get the impression that AH's team is constantly trying to take cheap shots at Depps team, the court and tweak procedure to get every advantage. It seems incredibly petty to a casual viewer, but I wonder if this is just how the game is played. I could see how Elaine, who is a seasoned lawyer, could overwhelm a less experienced team by throwing these cheap shots at every turn. Ben Chews team wasn't going to fall for them, but I could see how if Depp didn't have really deep pockets to pay for a top defense, Amber Heards team could cause trouble this way.
