Please don't compare this group to the '05 team. There were too many leaders on that team and they had a purpose. They were focused to get The Bus home for the Super Bowl. There were leaders on both sides of the ball. This team has more divas then leaders and a majority just want to stay quiet. Many of them need to grow a pair and call out teammates when they aren't performing to "the standard."

This is the wrong question. The real question is has Mike Tomlin destroyed the Steelers competitiveness? The answer is yes. He refuses to accept the responsibility and the accountability for the team. The Steeler Way is to find a way to be competitive, Chuck Noll used one set of ideas, Bill Cowher had another set of ideas, Mike Tomlin has no idea. #FireOrTradeMikeTomlin

What’s off is there isn’t a definitive pecking order at the skill positions on offense. Dionte’s inability to score and occasional drops gives Pickens a reason to believe that he should be the guy. There has been constant back and forth on who should start between Najee and Warren. It doesn’t seem like the team is in support of Trubisky even as the number 2 guy at QB. Until the skill position players on offense set themselves apart from group skill-wise, they’ll continue to be a bunch of disgruntled players that are easy to scout.

Stop bringing up the 05 team we had real Ballers on that team, real men that gave a f**k. We have a bunch of little boys that cry and throw tantrums when they don't perform at their jobs on this team. we do not have a quarterback that can lead with his play on the roster. Kenny at his best is not good enough. The other two are laughable. The Linebacker room has been decimated by injuries. Patrick and Levi are not good enough. I wish Corey Trice never got hurt. I have no faith in this team that we can make a play when we need one. We had that in that 05 team. Even if we make it in the playoffs. I have zero confidence that we could win a game. We got schooled by the freaking Texans. We've beat no one convincingly. I like the youth that we acquired in the last 2 years hopefully we can pull something together these last four games. Just to show pride in that they are professionals but I don't see anything happen as far as playoff wins go

I'm kind of curious how Sean Payton turned the Broncos around ? I don't think Tomlin has that . They seem to have this. " Disney " mentality... Leadership and coaching. Gotta change.

I totally agree with Minka’s assessment of certain players who think they’re champs, long before they’re even crowned. That privileged mentality among the younger players is definitely a huge problem for the Steelers, and it’s also an issue throughout the league. It’s unbelievable that the Steelers are still in the wild card race but a lot of that is because of the whacky AFC where seemingly, only the Ravens have their act together. But the Steelers obviously need a truckload of work if they’re ever going to be contenders again.

Not sure if I’ve seen this fan base more down bad than right now. “Trade/Fire Tomlin” this, “Bring X QB in next year” that, I’m not sure this fan base really wants to see that next year. What’s out there that’s gonna vastly improve the HC/QB position? OC sure, we’ll find one. The Steelers need to button up and understand the position they’re in right now. 3 weeks left and we’re still in the mix of things.

It all starts with the offensive line. Basically those are free agents brought in, not drafted hard ass big men that we developed into superstars Pouncy de Castro I can go on and on. these guys were brought in from different teams who don’t really have a vested interest. and there not playing very well. defenses are blowing up our plays before they can even get started, most of the time are running back is being tackled as soon as he’s handed the ball. Our center is hiking the ball at the quarterbacks feet while he’s being sacked.you see what I’m saying here people it starts with the offensive line.
