"Prima Facie" opened on Broadway April 23. Playbill was there on the red carpet to talk to the show's star Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve"), as well as the show's creators Suzie Miller, Justin Martin, and Rebecca Lucy Taylor.

The play follows British defense lawyer Tessa, played by Jodie Comer, who works her way from a working-class background to a rising star in the legal field. Often assigned to defend men accused of sexual assault, she dedicates her career to a system she believes in. But her whole world is thrown into question after she ends up in the witness stand.

her accent is to die for. I have a major crush on her for villanelle, which is concerning, as she played a multiple assassin and psychopath, but she's just so darn cute in that role. 😅
