In regards to raising prices and the potential of alienating your previous clients, a great solution to this (if you want to keep them) is to offer a discounted package for returning clients.
A little more expensive than your previous rate, but cheaper than your current rate.

You've (hopefully) been shooting a lot more since their previous shoot so they're getting more value from you in terms of experience and final product.
The benefit as a photographer is that it's always easier to photograph someone a second time. You already have rapport, are comfortable with one another, they should have a much better understanding of what to do in front of the camera (even if they're not a professional model), and because of this the shoot goes a lot more smoothly and takes a lot less time compared to a client you're meeting and shooting for the first time.

I've got a question for you. Can you do a video on plus size models?

Whenever you search boudoir photos 90% of them are ladies who are in shape or chubby/slightly overweight so they can pull off the same poses with slight alterations. When you get into larger ladies though, some can't arch the way most poses require (or they can but because of the extra love you can't really see it). Key points like creating space with arms and legs fly out the window and you essentially have to rethink the entire shoot from the ground up.

Another thing is they're usually in corset style lingerie and non are full nude. Any tips/suggestions?

The question from the 6:48 to 8:20 mark in the video about using Liquidfy and why you dont use it is exactly why Im considering starting to try and do Boudoir. Great answer! 👍

I totally agree on the liquify. I used to use it and I no longer do. I retouch, I dodge and burn and remove blemishes, but I dont liquify.

5:20 I've shot many a boudoir session on an A6000 with the 35mm f/1.8 lens, and I've had a lot of compliments about those shots! :)
I've been shooting on the A6300 for the last two years, but I did just finally jump into full frame and got an A7III, haven't done a shoot with it yet but hopefully soon!

Mr. Sasser - thank you for the informative video - very nicely pieced together with all the drone and bts footage . I've been shooting the female form for about the last year now, and this video is super handy and appreciated! Love the format and would happily watch another video 20+ minutes long. Looking forward to the next one
