Great tips Jess! One thing I do if I want to capture moving objects like people or cars or dogs is to snap a quick photo with my phone just in case, and if they do move I can still sketch them in using the shapes from the photo and maybe the colors from other people in the scene so that it still has a realistic feel! Loved how this sketch turned out!

Being medically disabled with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and mostly confined to my bed, I with I could go out to do urban sketching. I love the pink building and the Italy vibes seem dead on. You did a fantastic job capturing the likeness and sweetness of the cafe. If there's one place to do art, it's a cafe. I'm actually a little surprised the new owner didn't ask to buy the painting to hang on the wall inside. A lot of cafes even commission artwork for people by hanging their work up and posting that it's for sale. Well, it would be hard to give up anyway and it seems it all worked out exactly the way it was meant to. You're a fabulous artist. I am dying to break out the paint but I worry about the mess doing it on my lap in bed. I'm about to pull out my sketchbook now thanks to the inspiration I got from watching you paint. Beautiful work, as usual!
