The g8 sounds slightly better here as its lying down and vibrates the table with the sound, but sounds muffled when standing up or in your hand. The S10 sounds much better in most situations and this comes from actual real life experience.

Basically... Sammy was louder and had expanded audio due to its firing speaker design while LGee was more clear and had conserved audio due to its in screen speaker design.

Nice job! Thanks for making the comparison video. The S10+ sounded shrill. No depth to the music. The G8 sounded good! I'm not looking for great audio out of my handset speakers, except for phone calls and speakerphone. Additionally, the G8 and it's Quad DAC using headphones blow the S10 out of the building.

I dont think the g8 sounds better than the v40. But i did have some friends say that the s10 plus sounded better than the v40. I think the music source makes a big difference to.

LG definitely sounded better. I'm a Samsung user but I have to admit the G8 sounds much better on the table. In hand the Sammy probably was better though.

Honestly too close to call, so seeing that I currently have a V30+ I will go with the G8 for the price to features ratio. Debating on taking advantage of T Mobile price of 620 for the G8, and can trade in my V30+ for 310 in bill credits with no down payment out the door. Feel free to let me know if you think this trade in is worth it, G8 has considerably updated specs over the V30+

The G8 is a boombox speaker, so it sounds grander and louder, but there's vocal and instrumental sound on the bass. Stereo speakers also lose three dimensionality and sound frustratingly. There's very little left on the floor, so the boombox speaker certainly doesn't look good. The S10 speaker is definitely doing well this time.
